About This Grass
Forms a moderately dense, upright clump with coarse to medium texture. Unmowed height can reach 2 to 4 feet, but maintained lawns are typically kept at 2.5 to 3.5 inches. Color ranges from medium to dark green with good wear tolerance and deep root systems.
Blade Characteristics
Blades are medium-coarse in width (4-8mm), flat with prominent parallel veins on the upper surface, and smooth shiny undersides. Tips are distinctly pointed. Vernation is rolled in the bud. Ligule is a short membrane, and auricles are absent or blunt.
