About This Grass

Blade Characteristics
Blades are medium to coarse in width (4-10 mm), flat, with pointed tips and prominent parallel veins giving the upper surface a ridged texture. Vernation is rolled in the bud. The collar region is broad with a short membranous ligule and small or absent auricles.
