About This Grass
Forms a moderately coarse, upright, dense turf with a deep rich green color that remains green longer into the winter than many other cool-season grasses. Height can reach 2 to 4 feet if unmowed, but maintained at 2 to 3 inches.

Medium to coarse width blades (3-6mm) with pointed tips, prominent parallel veins, rolled vernation in the bud, a distinct whitish membranous ligule, and small auricles or none.
